It is terminated with 2 dock connectors (one is 8-pin lightning; another one is 30 pin dock connector) for iDevices, one to connect to iPad (iPad3 or older models), one to connect to iPhone5 (don't mix up 2 sides for other models).
No other methods will transfer as quick as this one!
