What you need is to install it to your rear wheel and connect the wire to the the included flashlight.
This also could be a bike dynamo for your iPhones / Galaxy Smartphones / GPS / Bike Blackbox if you are not connecting the USB to the flashlight. What you need to do is connect the USB to your device (please buy the suitable cable alternatively), then you can ride green, charge your smartphone or any other USB device green too!
